Xanthogranulomatous salpingitis is a benign condition in which there is inflammation of fallopian tube mainly by lipid laden histiocytes admixed with other inflammatory cells. It mimics malignancy at histopathological morphology and radio imaging study. Patients present with signs and symptoms of chronic PID (pelvic inflammatory disease). It can be managed by surgical exploration as diagnosis is retrospective. Here we report a rare case of xanthogranulomatous salpingitis.
