Retroperitoneal tumours are difficult to diagnose clinically and radiologically. They can arise from either gynaecological or non-gynaecological structures. Broad ligament lipomas are exceedingly rare. It can be misdiagnosed as ovarian teratoma due to its similar radiological appearance. We present this case as it is the first case reported in which broad ligament lipoma was removed laparoscopically.
