Abstract

Abstract

Isolated large and hyperechogenic foetal kidneys are difficult observation as the diagnosis doesn't imply any underlying pathology with uncertain possible natural course and prognosis for the baby. Accurate family history and radiological examination of the sibling's and parental kidneys is likely to be informative in accurate prenatal diagnosis and prognostication.
